The towering Lantau Peak and Sunset Peak, the meandering Tung Chung River, the lush Pui O wetland, the lively estuary mudflats…. All these are the diverse habitats on Lantau Island, and they nurture a very rich biodiversity, as home to various birds, butterflies, freshwater fishes, amphibians and reptiles.
