Application and Event Flow
Applicants need to complete the transaction (except for cup participants) and the entire registration process online.

Corporates or organizations participating in the cups need to submit donations by cheque. Please submit your cheque by mail or in-person to Green Power in 14 days to complete the entire registration process.

Individual

Step 1:
Online Enrollment

Sign up on the page “Enroll Now” by filling in basic personal information (name, email address, contact no., etc.). Select “Individual” in “Category” and choose the desired Target Distance.

Step 2:
Online Donation

After signing up, applicant will be directed to the Donation page to settle the payment of the minimum donation.
*Extra donation can be made after payment. For further details, please refer to Event and Donation Details.
*Only PayPal/ Credit Card Online Payment is accepted.

Step 3:
Application Confirmation

After signing up and donation, successful applicant will receive a confirmation email, which includes an individual account log-in and password.

Step 4:
Record Upload

Applicant can start the Virtual Hike from 21 January 2022.
To upload each session, log on to the personal account and upload (1) a screen capture of the fitness-tracking App record, and (2) two photos of any two Distance Posts along the route.
There is no restriction on the number of uploads throughout the event period. All records uploaded will account for the final result.
Applicant can take record of the distance and route completed in each hiking session using any fitness-tracking App, e.g. Strava, Garmin, Trailwatch etc.
#To ensure the safety of participants, a Trip Record hotline has been set up for participants to file records before and after their trips.
*The screen capture of the fitness-tracking App uploaded must include Route Map, Date and Time.

Step 5:
“Leave-No-Trace” Record

Along with the hike record, upload relevant photos of “Leave-No-Trace” to win the “Traceless Hiker Award”.

Step 6:
Souvenir and Prize Collection

All participants can get a Green Power Hike Commemorative Sports Towel. Participant who has completed the target distance will be awarded with a personalized medal and an e-certificate. Participant who uploaded relevant photos of “Leave-No-Trace” can get a “Leave No Trace” Equipment Set.
*Collection will be scheduled in March in batches.



Team

*Team leaders can find the names of registered teammates in the team list.
