Trees are a vital part of nature, which can control the microclimate, reduce pollution and provide a complex habitat for organisms. Since trees are easy to observe, they are good tools for environmental education. We specially designed three tree trails at Disneyland's Inspiration Lake and Park Promenade. The guidebook introduces fifteen to thirty species of trees along each tree trail. It also includes maps, interesting teaching notes on trees, and summarises skills needed for tree identification, the importance of trees and guidelines for observing trees. The guidebook helps teachers to lead tree observing activities.
