We add environmental infrastructure to public housing estates by planning tree trails and establishing butterfly gardens, which make the estates an amiable place for appreciating and learning about nature. The establishment of this infrastructure also enhances the sense of belonging among estate residents and consolidates the power of communities. We have added eco-facilities to 52 estates, accounting for about one-third of all public housing in Hong Kong.
