Exploring Ecology in the City - Environmental Education Resource Package for Kindergartens

City parks are ecologically rich, safe, convenient, and practical outdoor environmental education spaces! Learning about ecology in city parks helps children understand that nature is in fact within reach, inspiring them to connect ecology to their daily life.

This resource package is specially designed for early childhood educators. Ecological Study Trails have been mapped out in four large urban parks in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories, providing schools in the area interesting ecological learning spaces for the children. The resource package also contains a variety of ready-to-use teaching resources to assist early childhood educators in implementing environmental education.
